        Mirimane was the beautiful wife of Herod The Great. After Herod suspected her of having an affair with his uncle Joseph, Joseph was killed. Miriamne was later tried for adultery and executed. It was said, that Herod deeply loved his wife and after her death, had her body preserved in honey.
